BRIGHT APARTMENT, MAGAZINE INTERIOR DESIGN
A comprehensive renovation for the apartment of a decoration loving couple. It needed to meet all layout, functionality and style requirements. Let’s see how we achieve it.
We created multipurpose spaces by raising a partition next to the living room to create an office where we can also receive guests. To connect the room with the rest of the house, we opened an interior window with a Venetian blind, which at the same time allows to maintain privacy, if desired.
In the living room, it stands out the custom-built bookcase designed by the studio. Neutral colors provide a feeling of warmth, and light-colored walls enhance lighting. The light fabric blinds, together with the curtains, give a special presence to the living room.
We set up a reading area next to the living room where we can see a cupboard, original to the owners, which we restored, and an armchair, 1970s style with organic shapes, which we reupholstered in neutral colors.
The Santos brand is the protagonist in this kitchen in white and light tones to which we have given a touch of color by upholstering the chairs with Gastón and Daniela fabrics. To make the most of the light, we designed an aluminum glass enclosure between the living room and kitchen.
We wallpapered the master bedroom, with a woven effect that creates a cozy atmosphere. In addition, we used two different finishes creating continuity between the wall where the bed is located and the floor. The Marset wall lights stand out, provoking an interesting topical point.
The bathroom has a large oak wood cabinet that makes its use very practical. We have covered the walls combining porcelain, in the shower area, with paper on the rest of the walls, thus creating a practical and cozy room.
A set of details that have given rise to the style that the couple was looking for and that has produced a magazine result worthy of a publication in El Mueble.
