COMPLETE RENOVATION OF AN APARTMENT IN VIZCAYA
A young woman’s first home, in Vizcaya, with a complete renovation that transformed a small apartment with a challenging layout into a light-filled home with a timeless style.
The starting point was not straightforward: a former office converted into a residence, with an irregular floor plan that shaped every decision. We opted for a neutral colour palette and natural materials to create visual continuity between the rooms and enhance the sense of space.
The corner kitchen required almost all the furniture to be custom-made. We chose a white Santos kitchen and closed off the upper section of the cabinetry to prevent dust accumulation and make cleaning easier. The result is a neat and bright space, with a stone-toned worktop and perfectly integrated appliances.
Both the dining table and the living room coffee table are round in wood, designed to allow freedom of movement and create a sense of flow between spaces. They are complemented by Joquer sofas and Maison de Vacances textiles, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere that runs throughout the home. A highlight of the furnishing scheme is the custom-made pieces: the living room sideboard, wardrobes, chests of drawers and bathroom vanity units.
The lighting, from Bover and Santa & Cole, together with the Phillip Jeffries wallpapers, bring coherence to a space where every element contributes without overstatement.
In the master bedroom, the upholstered headboard, sisal rug and fine-striped wallpaper on the headboard wall create a serene atmosphere, with a touch of colour brought in through the textiles.
A small apartment transformed into a home worth coming back to every day.
