INTERIOR DESIGN IN SAN VICENTE DE LA BARQUERA
This project encompasses much more than just interior design. It’s a newly built single-family home where we were involved throughout the entire process, from the initial construction, which was handled by the builder, to the complete furnishing and decoration. 300 square meters for a family with a strong connection to the sea, who now have a second home with spectacular views of the Cantabrian Sea.
It features a spacious kitchen by Cocinas Santos, where we combined classic and modern elements. As a divider between the kitchen area and the living-dining room, we installed a glass partition with a striking design, custom-made by the Natalia Zubizarreta studio. It promotes the flow of natural light, maintains separate spaces, and boasts a design that lends personality to each room.
Despite being a newly built home, we indulged in a touch of classic style with vintage pieces. We opted for restored furniture from Albero Vintage, which creates the welcoming atmosphere characteristic of their pieces.
The living room now features a modern fireplace that takes center stage, alongside the sofas and chaise longue. As for textiles, fabrics from Güell Lamadrid dominate, and the upholstery is the work of Toral Decoración, who have done a superb job to ensure the styling is perfect.
The house connects the interior and exterior spaces through large windows, allowing residents to enjoy a landscaped garden with a lovely porch. Warmth, surf culture, and the sea are prominent themes in this interior design project in Cantabria, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and coziness.
