SINGLE-FAMILY HOME IN LA MORALEJA
This interior design and full refurbishment project breathe new life into a 300 m2 single-family home located in the exclusive area of La Moraleja. The main objective was to redesign the layout in order to create pleasant and highly functional spaces. In addition, every room was carefully furnished and styled in detail to shape a home with a classic yet fresh aesthetic. To achieve this timeless and elegant atmosphere, we incorporated decorative ceiling moldings, the warmth of wood finishes, and curved furniture lines that contrast beautifully with the crispness of the white palette.
In the kitchen, we opted for the clean-lined designs of Santos. We designed a central island that functions both as a preparation area and an informal dining space. Large windows flood the kitchen with natural light and freshness, making it an exceptionally bright and functional space for everyday living.
The living room becomes the heart of comfort thanks to the sofas by KA International. Light-toned finishes stand out, accented with touches of black throughout the design, introducing a contemporary contrast that complements the project’s classic aesthetic.
Throughout much of the home, we selected textile-effect wallpaper by Phillip Jeffries, pairing it with white walls to enhance brightness and spaciousness. Decorative mouldings on ceilings and walls, together with the extensive use of wood as the home’s primary material, create an atmosphere that feels both classic and timeless.
One of the most meaningful aspects of this project was the delicate restoration of inherited furniture pieces with deep family history behind them. The homeowners place great value on preserving their legacy, and these unique pieces have been seamlessly integrated into the contemporary design, bringing soul, character, and a sense of memory to every corner of the home.
